The main building has been an 1830s stagecoach stop, a general store and even a post office. The Inn has undergone many updates over the years and recently underwent a major renovation after damages caused by Hurricane Irene. It now offers 13 uniquely decorated guest rooms (all with private baths, individually controlled heat, TV's and telephones with free domestic calls). We offer warm common areas for lounging or reading, a cozy rustic Country style BYOB bar with pool table, gas fireplace, and some of the most unique furnishings you will find anywhere. The bar is still currently being updated but is usable to play pool and hang out. The sitting lounge features a wood burning stove and houses the original post office it's a great place to sit around the fire play games or have conversations. We have free Wi-Fi throughout most of the property.

There is something to do for everyone for young to old and we gladly welcome all members of the family. We even welcome your family dog in our 2 pet friendly rooms. The area offers great activities from skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, ice skating, and ice fishing in the winter to hiking, biking, golfing, boating, river rafting, tubing, and beaches in the warmer months. In the fall foliage in the area is amongst the best in the world for a few week as the leave change colors and the trees prepare for the long cold winter. The Inn is located at the intersection of Route 100 which has been designated a scenic By-way by the state of Vermont.
